This one actually precedes (and is referenced in) the first episode, as it was shot during December 2008's acoustic tour. You probably shouldn't watch this at work or around children, it's really not worth all the questions you'd have to answer.

As I learned to my great surprise on Sunday morning, Black Lodge 2600 was covered over the weekend by Game Informer, Kotaku, Joystiq, Metafilter and dozens of other sites across the internet. I'll bet most of you reading this already knew that though, since you've likely come to this page via one of those sites. In that case, hello, and thank you very much for showing interest in what else I'm up to!
As much of a shock as all this coverage was/is to me, it's nothing compared to the shock JakLocke.com's server has been going through. While it seems to have stabilized somewhat, if things load sluggish for a while, that's why. For all the new visitors, I hope you find something else you enjoy among everything else I've got here. I had a small role in the recently released independent film Just Another Noir, and I also contributed a unique recording of one of my songs, "I Haven't Snapped" to it. The filmmaker also asked me to read a radio spot promoting it (set to run on leading New Orleans area stations next week) which you can hear here if you like.

The other 48HFP film I contributed music to was Andrew Elliott's "Click" which ended up winning Best Writing in the contest! "Design Flaw" also won Best Special Effects and was nominated for Best Choreography, so congratulations to both Andy's Ensemble Arts team and Josh Robert's Killer Pink Bunny Productions for those awards!

I recently ran across some Nine Inch Nails tracks I'd remixed and added vocals and instruments to for fun back in 2007 that I'd completely forgotten about. No longer collecting digital dust, you can hear them in the new "Remixes" section I've put together here. Since I've gone and made a new section now and all, I suppose I'll have to get around to doing more remixes soon.

Sorry to keep you waiting, those of you waiting. Greg Roques drew the "Thriller" genre and so decided not to use me. Both KPB Productions and Andrew's team put me to work making five new recordings for their films, one of which I'll probably put up as a song of the week once the competition's done. As soon as they're allowed to put their actual films up (and they, you know, actually put them up), I'll link them from here and from the Facebook and Twitter pages. I'm going to go do something that doesn't involve music or, really, anything beyond staring now!

Three (potential) 48 Hour Film Project involvements this year |

Last year I contributed a couple of songs to my friends in Killer Pink Bunny Productions' 48 Hour Film Project entry, "The Hitters". This year, not only have they asked me to be on hand again if they need music, I've also been asked by Andrew Elliott (who shot and directed the "Good Luck" and "Thrift Store Reject" music videos) and Greg Roques to do the same thing for their individual entries! Tomorrow they all draw genres and will let me know if they need to use me and in what capacity. Have I finally agreed to too much? I guess we'll see!
